The Project

This project involved the refurbishment and change of use of existing facilities and spaces within areas identified to be suitable during feasibility investigations. Our team’s ability to work agilely in occupied buildings and simultaneously on multiple buildings was an invaluable asset on this project.

Works involved the fit out of a shell and core retail unit in building B6, including the construction of a mezzanine level, a new structure in the basement of building B0 and alterations and fit out to two existing areas within B0.

1

Smarter Planning

Limitations with the existing assets meant that Estate Services accommodation was fragmented across different levels and zones. A key design consideration was how workers accessed each of the spaces efficiently and safely.

Careful Communication

Phasing and sequencing of works enabled us to establish a safe method of working. Our team ensured that at all times meticulous attention was given to the site logistics, with all personnel reporting any issues daily, while comprehensive communication with the public proved key to our success.

Your time and efforts on the EMO project this year have been greatly appreciated. You have done a brilliant job and the space looks fantastic. To produce space of quality is a credit to you guys collectively as a team and your efforts certainly have not gone unnoticed.
