Exciting Milestone Reached at The Press, Cambridge

Last week, we celebrated the topping out ceremony for our latest project, The Press, in Cambridge. This site is set to become a hub for ground-breaking discoveries in the future. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated team and partners for their incredible hard work and commitment.

The Press project involves the design and construction of a new, state-of-the-art laboratory building. The work begins with the partial demolition of an existing single-storey unit and the refurbishment of the remaining space to include a new café, bike store, and plant room. The highlight will be the construction of a sustainable, two-storey laboratory and office building, finished to CAT ‘A’ standard and targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification.

The new building will feature a reinforced concrete structure, green roof, curtain walling, and timber cladding. Our expert team will also transform the campus landscape, creating new parking facilities and soft landscaping.
