We’re thrilled to celebrate Hastings Commons and the Observer Building for winning the Pineapple Award for Place in Progress! This national recognition honours projects delivering meaningful social, environmental, and economic change – and it comes hot on the heels of the Observer Building’s recent World Habitat Award gold win.

We’re incredibly proud to have contributed to the transformation of this iconic 1924 landmark into a vibrant, mixed-use community hub in the heart of Hastings. From affordable living rent flats and co-working studios to leisure spaces and a rooftop terrace, the Observer Building now stands as a powerful example of community-led regeneration in action.
