Growing a Greener Future: 8build Partners with MSK to Combat Climate Change

At 8build, we are proud to partner with MSK on a meaningful initiative to combat climate change and promote environmental sustainability.

As part of MSK’s ongoing tree-planting and carbon-offsetting programme, every waste-away vehicle attending an 8build project in 2024 contributed to this impactful effort. In total, 722 Avicennia Marina trees were planted in Kandrany, Madagascar, adding to the global tree count of 86,615,719, which now stands at 86,616,440.

This initiative is a vital component of our carbon reduction strategy, aimed at reducing carbon emissions. The Avicennia Marina, commonly known as the grey mangrove, plays a critical role in coastal ecosystems, enhancing resilience to climate impacts while absorbing significant amounts of carbon dioxide.

Together with MSK, we are making strides toward a more sustainable future. Every tree planted represents a step closer to achieving our climate goals and contributing to a healthier planet.
