Ozge Aygunoğlu Featured for Innovation in Material Reuse

We’re proud to see 8build’s very own Ozge Aygunoğlu recognised for her pioneering work in material reuse and the circular economy.

As the Founder of The Material Network, Ozge is challenging industry norms by giving surplus construction materials a second life, reducing waste and redefining how we value resources in the built environment. From leftover tiles and timber to fabric and finishes, her initiative connects suppliers with those who can repurpose these materials, creating a more sustainable future for our sector.

Her recent involvement in the Design to Deliver accelerator, supported by Connected Places Catapult, Digital Catapult and Satellite Applications Catapult has helped develop and scale this innovative platform.

A huge congratulations to Ozge on this well-deserved spotlight. We’re excited to see how The Material Network continues to grow and drive meaningful change.
