The Project
At Cooley Singapore LLP within Frasers Tower, we delivered a 10,650sq ft design and build CAT ‘B’ fit-out, working in close collaboration with an overseas architect to evolve the design intent into a fully realised workspace. The scheme brings together clarity and control with moments of considered expression; from an open-plan workstation environment to enclosed partner offices, huddle rooms, a mother’s room and dedicated server facilities, all planned to support the rhythm of modern legal practice. At its heart, a multi-purpose hall provides a versatile setting for collaboration and gathering, supported by high-specification VC systems, operable walls and switchable privacy glass that allow the space to adapt effortlessly to need. Arrival is defined by a sculptural reception backdrop, formed as a 3D wave feature, complemented by full solid timber flooring that brings warmth and tactility to the interior. Throughout, the workspace balances precision with calm, creating an environment that feels both highly capable and quietly assured.
Seamless International Design Coordination
Delivering a coordinated design between our in-house team and an overseas architect, while translating a complex, high-specification concept into a buildable workplace within a live commercial environment and tight programme constraints, required a disciplined and collaborative approach; we established clear decision points and early contractor involvement to ensure the design intent was preserved while enabling seamless coordination, buildability and programme certainty.
Integrated Smart Workplace Delivery
Integrating advanced workplace technologies and highly flexible spatial systems (including operable walls, switchable glass and complex VC infrastructure) without compromising the refined quality and cohesion of the interior environment required early and close coordination; we aligned architectural and MEP packages from the outset to ensure full integration, allowing technical complexity to be discreetly embedded within a calm, elegant and consistent workspace.
